Manus Wheeler
Manus Wheeler is dentsu’s Chief of Staff, supporting President and Global CEO Takeshi Sano, and working across the global leadership team to drive strategic alignment, operational effectiveness, and organisational transformation.
Manus joined Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) in February 2015 as UK & Ireland Corporate Communications Director, where he built DAN’s corporate profile and strengthened the reputation of its agency brands. After three years, he moved into Global HR as Director of Culture and Engagement, helping shape dentsu’s global people and culture agenda.
In 2020, he was appointed Chief Communications Officer for dentsu international, leading global corporate and employee communications, events, and thought leadership, before going on to serve as Global Chief of Staff for dentsu international.
In January 2023, Manus was appointed to the Dentsu Global Management Team and promoted to Deputy Group Chief of Staff, supporting then President and Global CEO Hiroshi Igarashi. He held this role alongside his appointment as Chief Brand and Culture Officer in 2024.
Prior to joining dentsu, Manus worked as an independent communications consultant with clients including Jaguar Land Rover and dentsu, and previously spent 12 years at Barclays Bank in senior communications, transformation, and operational roles.
Manus is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a certified Master Coach, and a UK accredited psychotherapist.
