dentsu X Appoints New Leadership to Drive Integration and Agility

dentsu X, part of dentsu Group Taiwan, today announced two key senior leadership promotions, both reporting directly to Robin Lu, CEO, Media Practice & CEO, dentsu X Taiwan. 

Sean Wang, formerly Chief Client Officer, has been promoted to General Manager. In this role, he will lead five core business units within the client service group, focusing on deepening client relationships and implementing integrated marketing solutions with strong business impact. 

Jeremy Wu, formerly Head of the Palette-2 Business Division, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) while retaining his current role. He will oversee the integration of internal resources and directly manage key departments including the Business Planning Office, Strategy Center, and Experience & Creative Center. His primary objective will be to enhance organizational agility and drive technological integration.

In light of the sweeping changes brought by AI to both industry structures and consumer behavior, Sean Wang, General Manager of dentsu X, emphasized the growing need for adaptive growth strategies. He remarked:“I will continue to lead the team with dentsu X’s core value of ‘Experience Beyond Exposure,’ striving to deliver end-to-end marketing strategies with measurable results. We will continue to work closely with clients, media, and tech partners to drive growth and unlock new value for brands.”

Reflecting on dentsu X’s journey, Jeremy Wu, Chief Operating Officer, shared his belief that genuine care for clients is the foundation of long-term, meaningful partnerships. He said:“We believe that only by understanding our clients better than they understand themselves can we identify the right business objectives and media strategies. Moving forward, we will focus on developing new capabilities, leveraging our in-house digital tools and cloud-based systems to turn operational efficiency into competitive advantage—ultimately enabling our clients to succeed.”

Sean Wang|General Manager

With over 24 years of experience in marketing communications and digital integration, Sean Wang has held senior leadership roles including Digital Director at Carat, General Manager at Amnet, Amplifi, and the Dentsu Intelligence Center. His expertise spans media investment, data-driven marketing, technological innovation, and strategic execution.

Since 2023, Sean has served as Chief Client Officer at dentsu X, where he has demonstrated strong cross-disciplinary leadership by aligning internal and external resources to deliver impactful, end-to-end marketing solutions. He is also active in industry advancement and currently serves as Chairperson of the Digital Media Application and Marketing Association (DMA) Taiwan, where he advocates for digital talent development and industry transformation initiatives.


Jeremy Wu|Chief Operating Officer

Jeremy Wu brings a dual background in technology and marketing. Since joining dentsu X in 2011, he has held various leadership roles including Head of Digital, Director of Media Lab, and Executive Vice President. He specializes in media technology integration, data application, and operational efficiency.

In recent years, he has led strategic departments such as the Strategy Center (BIS), Experience & Creative Center (ECC), and the Business Planning Office—driving tool development, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen internal integration. In 2023, he was named Marketing Communications Professional of the Year, recognizing his commitment to building a sustainable, tech-enabled operations team with strategic influence.
